Valda is a registered psychologist and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has more than 20 years experience as an individual and couple therapist and is also a trained family mediator. Valda works with individuals, couples and groups. She deals with a variety of issues, including relationship conflict, separation, parenting, stress, depression and anxiety. She also has a special interest in sexuality and cross-cultural issues. Valda was born in Brazil and has lived in Australia since 1994. Creating a safe environment, where individual and cultural differences are valued and confidentiality is taken seriously, is central to her approach to therapy. She enjoys helping clients solve problems and develop the full potential of their relationships. Valda also speaks Portuguese.
