Mary is a registered psychologist with more than 12 years experience in Relationship Counselling and working with individuals and couples experiencing difficulties in their sexual relationship. She works with the systemic relational approach, exploring the relationship, patterns of interaction and the meanings, feelings and beliefs that impact on the interaction.
Mary will help you work through that argument that never seems to be resolved, and learn to accept differences and negotiate through them rather than argue about them.
Added to Mary’s therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (mindfulness based therapy), where we learn to become mindful of our own feelings and belief systems, and how our responses match our value systems. Mary is also trained in Emotional Focussed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy.
Mary specialises and is passionate about her work in the sex therapy field. She will coach you through and help you negotiate your sexual relationship, particularly with differences in desire and low libido. Mary has a depth of knowledge around difficulties with erections, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, orgasmic disorder, sex/internet and porn addictions, sexual orientation and same sex relationships.
