Sharon has been practising for 20+ years in the public and private sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Her clients are individual adolescents, adults and couples.
Sharon has noticed in recent years that couples are asking for help earlier in their relationships, when they first notice problems, rather than living with them for years. This gives the couple a greater chance of dealing with the problems and developing a rich and fulfilling partnership, and modelling a loving relationship for their children.
Sharon incorporates Gottmann's ideas, an effective communication (verbal and non-verbal) for couples, into counselling. She enjoys helping couples learn how to resolve the issues in their relationship. She has an eclectic approach to counselling and specialises in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
