Anita has been working in clinical and community-based fields for 15 years.In that time, she has worked with a varied population including children, adolescents, people in custody, migrants and refugees, as well as the elderly.She has a firm respect for working sensitively within different cultural contexts, and uses a strengths-based approach to invite collaborative work within therapy.Some of the areas that Anita has worked extensively with in private practice includes: depression, anxiety, self-harm, substance misuse, phobias, post-traumatic stress, emotional management (grief, anger), and cultural adjustment.She recognises that a number of these issues sometimes confront individuals seeking help with relationships, and strives to create a safe therapeutic environment within which to explore feelings and behaviours, and their impact on the relationship.Anita uses a number of client-focused therapeutic approaches including: schema therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness techniques, and emotion-focused therapy.

Veronica is a Counselling Psychologist with ten years’ experience working in Corrections. She has worked with relationship issues among offenders and has also worked with issues such as substance use, anger management, trauma and other psychological problems. She has worked with complex clinical issues such as suicide and self-harm and issues related to difficult to manage behaviours.
Veronica is a highly enthusiastic and engaged counsellor who loves challenging her clients. Her counselling style emphasises the importance of a close working relationship with individuals and couples where all parties co-operate to find a satisfactory outcome to the issue at hand. However she also recognises the importance of humour and the need for an honest, straight forward approach to counselling work.
