Ros has worked in a variety of practice settings for over 15 years. She now works in private practice in Norwood with individuals, couples and families. She has extensive experience in the full range of couple relationships, from running marriage preparation courses for engaged couples, couple counselling and family mediation. She is a trained family therapist and qualified family mediator. She helps couples explore their patterns of interaction, evaluate the barriers to healthy, mutually nurturing relationships. She also has a special interest in same-sex and cross-cultural issues in relationships.
Ros believes that the fast pace of daily life makes it too easy for couples to forget the important principles of a healthy relationship: CODE; Compassion, Openness, Depth, Equality. Her gentle, caring and compassionate approach will help you make the desired positive changes you choose for your life and your relationship.
Other areas of interest and areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, recovery from sexual abuse, workcover and education. Ros has a doctorate in education and in addition to her private practice, is also a researcher at the university.
When Ros is not at work, she enjoys a busy lifestyle with her partner and their children.
