Simone is a psychologist who has been working in private practice for 5 years. She has previously worked in rehabilitation settings in both pain management and brain injury. In these settings she has assisted individuals and their families adjust to the changes in their lives after a serious injury.

She particularly enjoys working with couples to restore a sense of harmony in their relationship. Simone understands that the quality of the couple relationship has an impact on the family unit, work life and personal happiness.

Simone works from a cognitive behavioural approach and uses tools from systemic therapy, narrative therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. She uses these tools to help each partner in the couple feel understood and to work through their issues effectively. Simone also works with people dealing with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, grief & loss, anger management issues and addictions.
